Peter Block is an author and citizen of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is partner in Designed Learning, a training company that offers workshops designed to build the skills outlined in his books. His books include Flawless Consulting, Stewardship, The Answer to How Is Yes, Community, The Abundant Community, Activating the Common Good and An Other Kingdom. Peter is a founder of the Common Good Collective, and is part of the Cincinnati Common Good Alliance. He served on the board of directors of LivePerson, a provider of online engagement solutions. His work is in the restoration of the common good and creating a world that reclaims our humanity from the onslaught of modernism.
Maggie Rogers, fondly known as the “Inc” of Peter Block Inc., has been a cornerstone of Peter’s work since she joined him in 1997. For over two decades, Maggie played a critical role in organizing and executing Peter’s commitments, from writing and speaking engagements to local projects in Cincinnati and nurturing connections within his expansive network. Her partnership with Peter began in the realm of organizational consulting and evolved into supporting his efforts to build social capital in communities, including providing administrative support to Designed Learning’s special projects.
In 2005, Maggie pursued her passion for sailing, balancing her work with the adventure of living on a sailboat in the Caribbean for several years. She continued to contribute remotely, working from every port she visited.
Now retired, Maggie spends her winters in Florida, with her beloved sailboat docked nearby, and her summers in Mystic, Connecticut, where her journey with Peter first began. Maggie’s legacy of dedication and adventure remains an integral part of our story.
